How do I know when it is time to repaint my home?

If you notice your paint starting to chip, fade, or peel, it is likely time to repaint your home. Other signs that it is time to repaint include water stains, mildew, and bubbling or cracking paint. If you’re unsure, it’s always best to consult a professional painter for an assessment.

How do I know if I have lead paint?Abdul Samad2023-01-15T07:06:12+00:00

How do I know if I have lead paint?

It’s simple to check and we always do. We use a 3M Lead Check Swab to quickly and easily determine whether lead paint is present. If the swab turns red, it indicates the presence of lead. If you have further questions about lead paint, you can call the EPA’s toll-free hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD for more information.

How many coats of paint do I really need on my home?Abdul Samad2023-01-15T07:08:19+00:00

How many coats of paint do I really need on my home?

The number of coats needed for a residential painting project typically depends on the type of paint, the condition of the surface, and the coverage desired. Generally, one coat is sufficient for a new home, but two or three coats may be necessary for older homes. Your painter can provide more information on the number of coats needed for your specific project.

What should I do to prepare my house for painting?Abdul Samad2023-01-15T07:12:26+00:00

What should I do to prepare my house for painting?

Before beginning an interior painting project, it is important to move small items, fragile items, and pictures or mirrors off the walls. We will take care of any larger or heavier objects that cannot be moved, and we will cover all furniture, floors, and other surfaces with plastic and tarps to protect them from paint splatter. For exterior painting, make sure to move potted plants and any window-based AC units away from the house. If necessary, we can help you move any AC units inside your home.

How long will it take to paint my house?Abdul Samad2023-01-15T07:21:53+00:00

How long will it take to paint my house?

Painting the exterior of an average–sized house (approximately 2500 square feet) typically takes 5–7 days. The exact timeline depends on the amount of sanding, repair, and re–glazing that is required. Our team is experienced and well–equipped to get the job done in a timely manner without rushing, and we make sure to bring enough painters to keep the project moving along. Interior painting usually takes about the same amount of time, depending on the number of rooms.

What if it rains while you are painting my house?Abdul Samad2023-01-15T07:23:35+00:00

What if it rains while you are painting my house?

In the event of rain during a painting job, we keep a close eye on the forecast to ensure it does not become a problem. If rain does occur, we will come back and re-prep the affected area before re-painting.
